Azim Premji Foundation supports Jan Shaurya in strengthening educational opportunities for children from the Banchhada community through the Garima Learning Centres. Established within the villages, these centres provide daily after-school learning support for children in Classes 1–8, focusing on academic reinforcement, bridge learning, life skills, and recreational activities. The educators also serve as the primary point of contact for the village, supporting families with information on education, child protection, government entitlements, and access to essential services. By creating safe learning spaces and equipping children with the knowledge, confidence, and skills, the programme aims to improve educational outcomes, reduce school dropouts, and contribute to sustainable social and livelihood transformation within the community.
MHI supports Jan Shaurya in promoting education, psychosocial well-being, and community resilience among the Banchhada community across Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, and New Ashok Nagar. Through community-based Dignity Centres, children receive academic support in safe and nurturing spaces. A key component of the programme is its focus on community mental health, with trained counsellors providing psychosocial support to children, adolescents, parents, and other community members facing emotional distress. By combining education with accessible mental health services and family counselling, the programme strengthens individual well-being, encourages continued education, and fosters healthier, more resilient communities.
NSRCEL, the startup incubator at IIM Bangalore, nurtures high-impact social enterprises through incubation, mentorship, and capacity-building programmes. In 2026, Jan Shaurya was selected for the Impact Orbit – Skilling and Livelihood Innovation Cohort to strengthen its livelihood interventions through innovation and enterprise-led solutions. The partnership focuses on refining scalable livelihood models, building organisational capacity, and developing sustainable pathways for economic empowerment within vulnerable communities.
UnLtd India supports early-stage social entrepreneurs and organisations working to create sustainable social impact through incubation, mentorship, and strategic capacity building. In 2025, Jan Shaurya was selected for the UnLtd India Incubation Programme, receiving tailored mentorship, organisational development support, and access to a network of social innovators and partners. The partnership aims to strengthen the organisation’s leadership, refine its operational and impact models, and build a strong foundation for scaling community-led interventions.
Grassroots Resilience Institute (GRI) strengthens grassroots organisations by investing in institutional resilience, leadership, and long-term sustainability. In 2024, Jan Shaurya was selected for GRI’s Organisational Development Programme and received a grant of ₹1 lakh to strengthen its institutional systems and capacity. Implemented through Jan Sahas, the programme supported the organisation in enhancing governance, leadership, programme management, and operational effectiveness, laying a stronger foundation for sustainable growth and greater community impact.
TFIx is an initiative of Teach For India, incubates educational entrepreneurs to launch and sustain high-impact teaching fellowships in their regions. In 2026, Jan Shaurya was selected for the TFIx 2026 Cohort to design and develop its own community-based fellowship model. Through expert mentorship, strategic guidance, and a network of education leaders, the fellowship will support the organisation in building a sustainable pipeline of grassroots fellows to strengthen education and leadership within marginalised communities.
Pankh Abhiyan is a district-led initiative launched in 2024 by Shri Himanshu Chandra, IAS (2015 Batch), District Collector, Neemuch, to create education, livelihood, and career opportunities for young women from the Banchhada community. Implemented with the support of the National Rural Livelihood Mission and the Department of Women and Child Development, the initiative provides free coaching for recruitment into the police, armed forces, and paramilitary services, while promoting self-employment through government schemes. Since 2025, Jan Shaurya has been a volunteer partner, mobilising the community, identifying eligible participants, and bridging the gap between government departments and the Banchhada community to ensure greater access to these opportunities.
DLSA, Neemuch partnered with Jan Shaurya in 2023 to strengthen legal awareness across villages in Neemuch district. Through a series of legal literacy sessions, the collaboration educated community members on their legal rights, child protection laws, women’s rights, access to justice, and government legal aid services. The initiative aimed to empower vulnerable communities with legal knowledge and improve their ability to access institutional support and legal remedies.
Children Toy Foundation supported Jan Shaurya through an in-kind donation of educational toys, games, and learning materials in 2024. The contribution enabled the organisation to establish Toy Libraries across its community learning centres, creating engaging spaces that promote play-based learning, creativity, and cognitive development. These resources have enriched children’s learning experiences and encouraged joyful, inclusive, and interactive education within village communities.
